Benitez Set To Leave Newcastle Utd

Rafa Benitez looks set to leave Newcastle United at the end of June when his existing contract expires despite the club offering the former Liverpool manager a new contract worth a reputed £6M a year .

Benitez is one of the most talented managers of his generation and has won the Champions League with Liverpool , Uefa Cup with Valencia and Europa League with Chelsea as well as many other domestic titles . The 59 year old Spaniard has been at Newcastle since March 2016 signing on an initial three year contract . Under his stewardship Newcastle won the Championship in 2016-17 season and have subsequently maintained their Premier League status comfortably on a very modest budget .

It is understood that Benitez would be prepared to stay at Newcastle if he could be convinced by the Club’s owners that significant funds would be made available to strengthen his threadbare squad allowing him to compete with clubs in the top half of the Premier League.

However the prolonged saga of Mike Ashley trying to sell the Club is making it very difficult for Benitez to be given the assurances he requires . Ashley has been trying to sell the Club for at least three years but now appears to have negotiated a deal reputed to be worth £350M with a middle-east consortium . Ashley’s tenure at Newcastle has seen the billionaire fall out with Newcastle fan’s who became disenchanted with his lack of investment in the team. Ashley famously enjoy’s a night out in Casino’s and won £1.3M on one spin of the roulette wheel in the trendy Fifty Casino in London’s Mayfair district in 2008 .

Many land based casino’s also have live casino available online and this niche has enjoyed huge growth in popularity over the last 10 years . Roulette and blackjack tend to be very popular with Casino players particularly big hitters like Ashley but some of the best online slot games to win are Starburst , Age of the Gods and Deal or No Deal.

Mike Ashley will need all the luck he can muster to keep Benitez at Newcastle for the start of the 2019/20 season.
